Jessica Ennis Aviva Startrack session

I recently had the opportunity to shoot Jess Ennis over a day in Manchester and Sheffield. Over the years I have been lucky to work with some of the top sportsmen and women - some nice , some not so nice - working with Jess was an absolute pleasure and despite the weather - guess what , it rained in manchester !! - she was enthusiastic and really engaged with the participants. It was through a similar scheme that she starting in athletics. Some great questions from the kids too - "do you have a butler?" - do you live in a mansion?" - have you raced Usain Bolt?" - made for an interesting day and one which Im sure they will not forget.
